Readers of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine (USA) placed the ancient city in central Vietnam into second place in the list of the most popular destinations in Asia.
In an annual survey ofConde Nast Traveler, which is considered the most prestigious survey of tourism industry globally, Hoi An "jump" shot up to second place, behind city Kyoto (Japan ) in the list of the most attractive cities in Asia.In last year's poll, the first Security Council in the top 10.

Meanwhile, The Nam Hai resort was voted one of the top ten resorts in Asia, up from No. 14 class last year.No other resort in Vietnam shortlisted this.The magazine's poll attracted almost 80,000 participants with 1.3 million votes for 16,000 hotels and resorts are nominated for awards this year.Last year, just over 46,000 readers participated.
This is the 26th poll after poll first began in 1988.The election this year is done through a secure site, and the votes are categorized by Equation Research.Readers evaluate candidates according to the criteria on a scale of five.Hotels and resorts have received a minimum number of votes are eligible to be awarded.
